Baby Boy Book 4th edition

Over the summer I finished another baby book, this time for my fourth nephew who was born in July! This album is 8×8 size, though it could be easily modified for 12×12 to allow for extra room. Font and images from the Silhouette Online Store.

Zelda Birthday Card

There’s a character that occurs in the video game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, named Navi. She is the “navigator” of the main character, Link, and to say she nags the main character is an understatement. Anyway, that character is the basis of this card I made for my brother’s birthday!

Desert Deco Bridal Shower

Last month I helped throw a bridal shower for my beautiful sister-in-law who is getting married this fall! Her wedding is going to be a Gatsby theme, so I wanted to incorporate a bit of that into the shower while also adding a few more things to make it unique for her. She served her mission in Italy and loves all things Italian, which we integrated using the food, and she’s also a desert girl which we integrated in the favors.

The menu included:
Caprese skewers
Italian bread with an olive oil “buffet”
Artichoke Hearts
Broccoli Salad
Meatballs
Fruit Tray
Sparkling Apple Cider with a gold paper straw
Cheesecake Bites
2 different flavors of Gelato served in black paper cups and ate with a wooden spoon wrapped in gold washi tape

The decorations were kept fairly simple, with a lot of black, white, and gold. I cut circles out of gold and glitter paper to place on the food table and to sew into a banner that went above the gift table.

And for the favors I bought these darling succulent packs from Lowes to plant into cups.
