Barnyard Birthday

*This is the last post I had pre-scheduled. I’ll be taking an unknown length break since the baby will be here. Hopefully I’ll be back soon!!!

For some reason when I look at this card I think summer! And how appropriate since the first day of summer is today:) I created this for one of my nieces who turns one this month. The cow and pig are from Lawn Fawn’s “Critters on the Farm”, and the birthday bird, balloon, cake, party blower, and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn’s “Party Animal”. The clouds are from this Echo Park image from the Silhouette store, and the papers are scraps from my scrap box. It’s so cheery and fun, and it’s making me want to create more cards with this same color combo 🙂

Dad, you’re a classic!

Father’s Day is only 10 days away, so I wanted to share this fun and easy card I made for my dad. I found this cool cassette tape shape on the Silhouette store, which happens to be a card too (perfect for a time crunch before baby arrived)! I didn’t really like the saying on it, so I did have to go into the point editing part of the Silhouette software to delete the letters. I used a different font to add the sentiment I wanted, “Dad, you’re a classic”, and that’s it. The designer of the shape has SO many more adorable shapes available for purchase too!

Oh deer…feel better!

I created this card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #5, which was made based on a spring inspiration board (I was inspired by the colors and nature aspect). I used three different Lawn Fawn stamp sets for it, the pine tree from “Critters in the Forest”, the deer, heart, and oh deer sentiment from “Into the Woods”, and the feel better sentiment and sunshine from “So Much to Say”. Papers were all from my scrap box, so I’m not sure what brands they are, but I adore how the colors look together!

Have a SUPER Birthday

While trying to come up with a birthday card for my husband’s birthday, I stumbled across a website that had Mario fonts! It was pretty exciting, since I could download one and use it with my Silhouette Cameo. I chose the Super Mario Bros font, downloaded it, and then used it for the word, SUPER in this card. For the picture, I found an image online from Super Mario World that I printed out, and added to the card. Voila! An easy, but fun card for my husband’s birthday, which is today!
