This card is very similar to another card I made last year, in case it looks a little familiar, just with a different sentiment, spacing, and I added pink to the color combination 🙂
Today is the first Saturday of National Craft Month! Each year I have loved making as many crafts as possible during this month, and usually try a new craft as well. Last year I was teaching full time and finishing up my senior project so I didn’t really have a chance to craft as much as I wanted. However, this year I not only have more time, but I have a baby due at the end of May that I want to craft for! So this month will not only include some scrapbook-y and various crafty posts, but a few baby crafting posts as well 🙂
Anyway, to kick things off I wanted to share this bright and beautiful birthday card I created today. The base of the card is the only thing not made from paper scraps…something I’m always looking to use. It can easily be duplicated with any large piece of scrap paper, all you’d need to do is switch up the colors. I just love it!
